Lieut.-Colonel Lockwoodasked the Postmaster-General whether he will provide a sub post office at the south-east part of the new Harold Hill estate, Rom-ford, as this area comprises the shopping centre, and until a sub-post office is provided old-age pensioners will have to continue to walk a mile and cross a busy main road in order to draw their old age pensions; and others living in that area will have similar difficulties in order to avail themselves of the ordinary postal services.
