§ Mr. MarquandThe provision of this accommodation is a function of regional hospital boards. Their attention has been specially directed to the urgency of this problem and the available accommodation will be increased as fast as resources and the needs of other essential services allow.
§ 77. Mr. Nieldasked the Minister of Health what steps are being taken to recruit more nursing staff for homes for mentally-defective children in the north west.
§ Mr. MarquandThe hospital management committees concerned are recruiting nurses from France and hope to be able shortly to open many of the closed beds.
