HC Deb 12 April 1951 vol 486 cc100-1W
72. Mr. Hardy

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that Mrs. Esther Ravenscroft, Brighton Street, Salford, has been registered for an ear-aid since February, 1949; and when she is likely to receive her Mk. A.V.C. ear-aid promised some time ago.

Mr. Marquand

I understand that none of the existing aids is powerful enough for this patient and I cannot say when further improved models, of a kind to suit her, will be available.

86. Sir I. Fraser

asked the Minister of Health when bone conduction hearing aids will be available in sufficient numbers to meet the known need.

Mr. Marquand

I regret that I cannot yet estimate the date.
