§ Mr. BottomleyYes. His Majesty's Government are disturbed at these delays which seem to constitute a recurring problem. There has, however, for some time been close consultation between His Majesty's Representative at Rio de Janeiro and the Brazilian authorities about ways and means of expediting payment and we hope that the situation will become easier. There was a considerable improvement last spring and we hope that there may again be an improvement in the near future.
