asked the Minister of Transport why the Parade, Marlborough, is no longer to be classified as a trunk road.

Mr. Barnes

I have not yet reached a decision on this matter but I am considering a proposal that the Parade, Marlborough, should cease to be a trunk road because it is seldom used by trunk road traffic. I understand that the highways committee of the county council are in agreement with the proposal.
