§ 32. Mr. H. Daviesasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the Hong Kong Government will give facilities to the People's Government of China for the establishment of a selling agency in Hong Kong, in view of their desire to avoid the profits of the middle men.
§ Mr. J. GriffithsThere is no bar to legitimate trade in Hong Kong in conformity with existing regulations and in this respect an agency of the Chinese People's Government is in the same position as any other trading organisation.
