§ 48. Commander Nobleasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty why it took until 25th August to arrange a Service funeral for a "Truculent" casualty buried by the Sheerness police on 27th June.
§ Mr. J. CallaghanThe time taken to arrange a Service burial was due to the number of legal requirements which have to be complied with before a body can be exhumed and reburied. I wish to express my regret for the delay.
