§ 13. Mr. P. Smithersasked the Minister of Health whether he will make special provision under the National Health Scheme for the accommodation in hospital of incurable cancer cases, with a view to avoiding their being placed in wards for the aged and infirm.
§ Mr. BevanIt is for the regional hospital boards to decide on the allocation of beds between different types of case. I have no reason to suppose that they do not so far as possible take into account the special circumstances of these patients.
