Williamsasked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in view of the fact that retailers have no choice 373W but to accept what supplies are offered to them, he will give an assurance that it is not his intention to reimpose the Orders in Council, made under the provisions of the Merchandise Marks Act, 1926, relating to imported dried fruit and butter.
§ Mr. G. BrownThe marking requirements under the Merchandise Marks Act, 1926, relating to imported dried fruit and butter have been suspended until the 25th May, 1951. The question of extending the period of suspension will be considered before that date.
