§ 98. Mr. M. MacPhersonasked the Minister of Labour what is the strength, as at the latest convenient date, of the Factory Inspectorate; and how many vacancies there are.
§ Mr. IsaacsThe approved strength of the Factory Inspectorate is 373 and on 1st October, 1950, 312 were in post, leaving 61 vacancies. As a result of a recent open competition appointments to 15 of the vacant posts are being offered to successful candidates, and another open competition is about to be announced.
