§ 82. Mr. Awberyasked the Minister of Health if he is aware that 25 per cent. of the samples of ice cream recently taken were unsatisfactory and a further 25 per cent. only fair; and if he will now consider laying down legally-enforceable standards regarding its purity as well as its contents.
§ Mr. BevanI am advised that recent bacteriological tests are showing improvement. I am still not satisfied that there is any test reliable enough to justify its use as a legal test, non-compliance with which would constitute an offence.
