§ 85. Mr. Pickthornasked the President of the Board of Trade which of the strategic materials excluded by the Hong Kong Government from export to China are similarly excluded by His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.
§ Mr. BottomleyAll goods the export of which to China or anywhere else is subject to control by the Government of Hong Kong on strategic grounds are also subject to control on export from the United Kingdom. In Malaya, the other Colonial territory likely to be concerned, there are controls in operation similar to those exercised in Hong Kong.
