Mr. Osborneasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what discussions he has had with representatives of labour and employers to work out a common policy on restraining wages, prices, profits and dividends; when and with whom they took place if he is satisfied with the results; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. JayI assume the hon. Member has in mind the statement by the Minister of State for Economic Affairs in the Debate on 13th September. I am not in a position to make any statement on this subject at this stage.
