§ 73. Mr. Linsteadasked the Minister of Health what steps he is taking to obtain additional sessions of work for a consultant anaesthetist, whose name has been supplied to him, displaced from a hospital as a consequence of the inauguration of the National Health Service, in view of the moral obligation to do so referred to in paragraph 16 of Terms and Conditions of Service of Hospital Medical and Dental Staffs.
§ Mr. BevanI have asked neighbouring hospital boards to do what they can to help. One board arranged for the consultant to give them slightly more service when his other appointment terminated. The possibility of increasing the amount of service further is being considered.
