HC Deb 30 November 1950 vol 481 cc169-70W
64. Sir J. Mellor

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why forms L.39 were issued by the Central Land Board in respect of property other than single dwelling houses; how many were so issued; why forms C.V. 121 were substituted for forms L.39; and why distinction is drawn between these two forms in respect of contribution to professional charges.

Mr. Jay

I regret that Forms L.39 were issued inadvertently in these instances. There is no record of the number so issued, but the forms have now been withdrawn. Form C.V.121 is issuable in different circumstances from L.39 and under distinct Regulations. No question of substitution or of making a comparable contribution in respect of professional charges arises.
