§ Mr. HobsonWhere a house with a telephone becomes vacant, the new occupier, if a removing subscriber, is given preference over all new applicants for whom the line could be used to give service. He is given a further measure of preference over other removing subscribers in case of serious illness, where it is vital to have a telephone in the house.
