asked the Minister of Labour the number of unemployed in the ship repairing industry on Merseyside.

The available statistics relate to the shipbuilding and ship repairing industry as a whole. The total number registered as unemployed in the Merseyside Development Area at 16th October whose last employment was in that industry was 2,390.
