Mr. Jannerasked the Minister of National Insurance whether she will ask the National Insurance Advisory Committee, which is at present reviewing maternity benefits, to consider the advisability of making special grants to expectant mothers who are forced to have their confinements at home owing to the shortage of nurses and hospital accommodation.
