§ Mr. P. Noel-BakerNo experiments on the underground gasification of coal have yet been made in Scotland. Short-term experimental work is going on near Chesterfield; no decision to extend it to other sites can be taken yet. If and when a decision is made, sites in Scotland will, of course, be given full and equal consideration.
