HC Deb 17 November 1950 vol 480 c210W
Sir R. Glyn

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he has yet received a report on the case of 2449595 Aircraft-man A. H. Garrett, deceased, to which his attention has already been drawn by correspondence; whether he is satisfied that this man received adequate medical supervision and that there was no connection between the cause of the motor-cycle accident in which he was killed on 16th July and a fall that he had during physical training on 23rd January when he sustained a fractured vertebrae.

Mr. A. Henderson

I have carefully considered the report on the case of Aircraftman Garrett and I and my medical advisers are satisfied that he received all necessary hospital treatment and medical care and attention in respect of the injury he sustained during physical training on 23rd January and that this injury did not contribute in any way to the motor-cycle accident on 16th July.
