THE DUKE OF MONTROSE

asked his Majesty's Government how many meetings have been held by Lord Catto's Committee on Financial and Economic Statistics for Scotland; how many of the meetings have been held in Scotland; have the Committee considered the White Paper giving Mr. Speaker's letter to the Prime Minister on the Conference on Devolution, Cmd. 692 of 1920, and the revenue and expenditure reports as between England and Scotland, printed by the Treasury for Parliament in 1922 and 1932.

THE PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF WORKS (LORD MORRISON)

The Committee on Scottish Financial and Trade Statistics has met four times, and one of these meetings was held in Scotland. His Majesty's Government are confident that the Committee will consider carefully all documents relevant to their terms of reference, and the terms of the Question are being brought to their notice.
