Noel-BakerThe British Electricity Authority assure me that before the autumn of 1951 the additional grit-arresting plant and the new high chimney at the Kirkstall Power Station will be in full operation. They further inform me that active steps will be taken in 1951 to prevent the spread of grit from the tipped piles of spent ash near the power station.
