§ Mr. Ness EdwardsThree thousand one hundred and ten at 30th September, 1950. Since January, 1948, all new and removing residential subscribers have been under obligation to share their telephone lines, but I am glad to say that other subscribers have voluntarily agreed to share. Full details are not available, but it is estimated that 5–10 per cent. of the 627 sharing subscribers given service in Leeds in the last 12 months are volunteers.
