asked the Lord President of the Council what representations he has received from different sources on the subject of opening the Festival of Britain on a Sunday; and what decision has the Government made upon this matter.

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department to what extent the permitted hours for the sale of intoxicants at the Festival of Britain Exhibition will be subject to the jurisdiction of the licensing justices concerned.

The sale of intoxicating liquor in connection with the Festival will be subject to the ordinary law in this as in other respects.
