§ 110. Mr. Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is satisfied with the quality of timber now being supplied to local authorities for their housing programmes.
Mr. McNeilI am aware that some local authorities have had difficulty in obtaining the precise quality and lengths of timber which they require, but my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade who is, of course, responsible for the supply of timber, is satisfied that these difficulties will be substantially overcome as stocks are increased in the merchants' hands.
