§ 132. Mr. W. Hudsonasked the Minister of Food the date of arrival and country of origin of the oldest stocks of carcase meat now held by his Department.
§ Mr. WebbApart from 200 tons which arrived in September and October last year, all ration meat in store has arrived in this country since the beginning of this year. We have also a small quantity of manufacturing meat—less than one week's needs—which arrived towards the end of last year. All these stocks came from Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, or Uruguay—and of course, are kept under completely safe conditions of cold storage.
