Mr. Robson-Brown

asked the Minister of Works if he will give the number and main categories of requisitioned buildings, residential and non-residential, held by his Department.

My Department held on requisition on 31st March, 1950, 3,310 properties in the following categories:

Houses with 1–6 rooms	27
Houses with 7–12 rooms	263
Houses with more than 12 rooms	737
Flats	257
Hotels and Boarding Houses	46
Offices	1,140
Shops	420
Other categories	420
Total	3,310
