§ Mr. G. R. StraussThe sums expended to date on the runway and assembly buildings are £2,110,000 and £2,948,000 respectively. Present estimates of the total final cost are £2,655,000 and £3,298,000. The sum expended to date on the aircraft is £4,366,000 and a new estimate of the total final cost is at present in course of preparation.
