§ Mr. Peter Smithersasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what new scheme for the Agricultural Research Station, St. Vincent, has been brought into operation to replace that due to end last December; and what are its main features.
§ Mr. J. GriffithsA supplementary grant from Colonial Development and Welfare Funds has been made to enable the Camden Park Experiment Station to continue on the original basis until the end of June, 1950. Meanwhile, the Governor of the Windward Islands has reviewed the work of the Station. I expect shortly to receive his proposals for a new scheme to continue the work of the Station for the next five years.
