§ Dr. SummerskillIncluding the Central Office, there are 145 offices. The number of staff employed is 3,010. The cost of the great majority of this staff is borne by the insurance funds administered by my Department, and separate figures of staff costs for Scotland are not available. On the basis of the published Estimates they would amount to about 1d. per head per week of the population.
