Macphersonasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation by how much per annum the increase in duty on hydro-carbon oils will raise the cost of operating the present internal services of British European Airways; and what proportion this sum bears to the total cost of operating the internal services.
§ Mr. BeswickI understand from the Corporation that information, which in this instance is readily available, indicates that the increased cost per annunm may be of the order of £100,000, representing a little over 3 per cent. of the total cost of operating the internal services.
