§ Mr. M. MacMillanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether the grant of 25 per cent. from Scottish Department funds for the proposed bridge to Bernera, Isle of Lewis, is still available; and if he will estimate when the work is to begin.
Mr. McNeilI am prepared to offer a 25 per cent. grant towards the cost of this work. I regret that I cannot at present say when a start is likely to be made.
