§ 85. Mr. Hurdasked the Minister of Food if he is aware of the additional cost involved in the transport of imported early carrots because of his Department's ruling that they must be shipped with their foliage; and if he will devise a more economical method of controlling imports.
§ Mr. WebbIt was announced by my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade on 15th April that this regulation would be withdrawn with effect from today, 1st May. All carrots may now be imported under open general licence.
