§ Mr. StracheyThe number of married Regular officers and men serving on 30th November, 1949, which is the latest date for which figures are available, was 11,130 and 44,198 respectively. In addition, the number of married officers and men serving on short-service engagements on that date was 9,348 and 15,810 respectively.
§ Mr. Lowasked the Secretary of State for War the strength on 1st January, 1950, of the Supplementary Reserve and of Sections A, B and D of the Regular Army Reserve, respectively.
