§ Mr. IsaacsAbout 20 million employed persons are now entitled to annual holidays with pay. The number in 1939 was about 7¾ million. It is estimated that the manual wage earners included in these figures number about 14 million and 4 million respectively, the remainder being mainly salaried employees, clerks, shop assistants and domestic servants.
