§ Mr. Grimondasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is now in a position to increase the number of huts for community centres which are to be made available through the Scottish Council of Social Service for the Highland and Islands area.
Mr. McNeilI regret that in view of the restrictions on capital investment, it has been found necessary to postpone the erection of village halls and community centres and that it will not be possible to sanction additional building for these purposes meantime.
