HC Deb 17 March 1950 vol 472 cc79-80W
Sir R. Glyn

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether it is intended to reopen for traffic the road across Grove airfield. near Wantage, as was agreed, when the land was first requisitioned, should be done after the war; and whether instructions will be given that the accommodation for stores as part of Milton Royal Air Force Maintenance Unit should be concentrated so that the existing runway can be used for ordinary traffic.

Mr. A. Henderson

The runways at Grove airfield are clear of all stores and the agreement of my Department has now been given to the Ministry of Transport scheme for the opening of a road across the airfield.
