§ Mr. TomlinsonThe importance of giving attention to the condition of children's feet at the time of medical inspection has been emphasised in recent reports by the Chief Medical Officer and is increasingly recognised by local education authorities. Shortage of medical and auxiliary staff would make it impracticable to institute a separate system of foot inspection.
