§ Mr. A. HendersonCandidates for technical posts in the United Kingdom are not required to be below the age of 50. As regards technical posts which carry an overseas liability, however, candidates are normally required to be under the age of 50, and in these cases, other things being equal, my Department does give preference to men below that age.
