§ Mr. Nallyasked the Minister of Defence if, without giving the total number of troops involved, he will state what approximate percentage of the British Force assigned to serve in Southern Korea consists or is intended to consist of conscript Service men under 21 years of age.
§ Mr. ShinwellI would refer my hon. Friend to the undertaking I gave yesterday that no soldier under 19 years of age will be sent to Korea and that no National Service men will be sent except in very exceptional circumstances.
