§ 86. Wing Commander Bullusasked the Minister of Health what steps have to be taken by a Service man returning to this country after years of service abroad to obtain a local authority-owned house in this country.
§ Mr. BevanApplication should be made to the appropriate local authority, which will normally be the Council for the area in which the Service man will be working on return. Forms of application are provided by the Service authorities to serving officers and men. Guidance has been given to local authorities designed to secure that the position of such applicants is not prejudiced by their absence abroad.
