§ Mr. StokesThe bungalows at Moredon and other places were provided for essential workers transferred there during the war, and the electric fittings were144W provided and maintained purely as a wartime measure because private individuals could not easily obtain such things or have them repaired. Electrical appliances are now readily available and it is no longer considered justifiable to provide and maintain them at the public expense. No charge has been added to the rent for these services, nor is any reduction being made on their cessation.
