§ 8. Mr. S. Marshallasked the Minister of Town and Country Planning whether he is aware of the difficulty in which local planning authorities are placed through permission being refused for them to acquire sites upon which to re-establish non-conforming industrial users and through the Central Land Board having no authority to transfer the value of building rights upon the removal at the instigation of the local planning authority of industrial undertakings; and if he will introduce legislation to make possible the re-establishment of industrial undertakings upon sites approved by the appropriate local planning authority without payment of development charge.
§ Mr. DaltonLocal authorities may acquire land for this purpose if there is an immediate likelihood of building. The answer to the last part of the Question is, "No."
