§ Mr. StokesI am aware that there is a shortage of bricks in certain parts of the country. In conjunction with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour every effort is being made to increase the supply of labour at existing brickworks. In addition, brick companies are being urged to reopen closed brickworks in anticipation of a steady demand assured by the Government's announcements about the future programme.
