§ Mr. IsaacsThe average age of persons appointed as factory inspectors for the 10 years before the war was 27.1. The average age of persons appointed since the war is 31.
§ 104. Mr. Mikardoasked the Minister of Labour to what extent factory inspectors are at present being appointed from amongst persons who have academic qualifications but little industrial experience.
§ Mr. IsaacsI have not had an analysis made of the academic qualifications and the degree of industrial experience of the factory inspectors now in post but the conditions of eligibility in this respect remain unchanged.
