Mr. Colegateasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that many rural district councils are finding that men are holding back from joining the Civil Defence Force because they are waiting to see whether the Home Guard is to be resuscitated; whether he can now make a statement as to the present position; and whether any decision has been arrived at.
