§ Mr. GaitskellI presume that the hon. Member is referring to permission to transfer abroad the control of a company in which case the relevant enactment is132W subsection 2 of Section 30 of the Exchange Control Act, 1947.
Since this Act came into force on 1st October, 1947, 30 companies are known to have been given permission, but records for the first few months are not complete.
