HC Deb 04 December 1950 vol 482 c3W
Mr. Granville

asked the Minister of Food if he is aware that there has been a shortage of sweet biscuits in North-East Suffolk for the past two months; and what steps he is taking to remedy this.

Mr. Webb

Supplies of sweet biscuits generally are short, but I am not aware of any special difficulties in North-East Suffolk. Manufacturers are, I am sure, doing their best to treat all their customers fairly, but if the hon. Member will let me have the names and addresses of any retailers who feel they have cause for complaint, and particulars of their usual suppliers, I will make inquiries.
