Mr. McAdden

asked the Minister of Works how many members of the Mobile Labour Force have taken paid sick leave during the last 12 months; and what percentage of the total force is represented thereby.

Mr. Stokes

During the last 12 months the number of operatives of the Mobile Labour Force who took one or more days paid sick leave was 1,939. The number of working days for which sick leave was paid was 1.2 per cent. of the working time of the total industrial members of the force.

Mr. McAdden

asked the Minister of Works whether he will make available to Members the Report of the Director of the Mobile Labour Force for the 12 months ended March, 1950.

No. The Director of the Mobile Labour Force makes an annual report to his senior officer for internal purposes only and not for publication.
