asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury who are the members of the Advisory Committee set up in connection with the work of the Social Survey under the Central Office of Information; what are its functions or terms of reference; and when it last met.

§ Mr. Jay
There is no Advisory Committee in connection with the Social Survey Units. The hon. Member is presumably referring to the Scientific Advisory Committee of the war-time Social Survey, appointed by the Minister of Information in 1944 and wound up in 1946.
